Shadow Panther
Bener Mariah, Sumatra, Organic, Grade 1
Some coffees whisper. Shadow Panther has a growl. They named this coffee after the volcano it's grown around, Burni Telong. If that's not the origin story of a coffee that was grown for dark roast, I don't know what is.
Deep in the misty volcanic highlands of Aceh, Sumatra, generations of Gayo farmers cultivate coffee beneath dense tropical forest canopies where rich volcanic soils, year-round rain, and mountain mist create one of the world's most distinctive coffee-growing regions. The result is a coffee with unmistakable depth and character.
Processed using Sumatra's traditional wet-hulled method and roasted dark, Shadow Panther is bold without being bitter. Expect rich notes of tobacco, baker's chocolate, and a savoury finish wrapped in a velvety body that lingers long after the last sip. It's the kind of coffee that doesn't ask for your attention—it quietly commands it.
Sourced from the slopes surrounding Burni Telong volcano and carefully prepared by PT Indokom Citra Persada alongside local farming communities, every cup celebrates the generations of knowledge and craftsmanship behind one of Indonesia's most iconic coffee origins.
Shadow Panther isn't here to be the loudest in the room. It's the one everyone notices anyway.
