New Release- ETHIOPIA- LION-EL RICHY
Current Feature Roast - LION-EL RICHY
Yirgacheffe Edido (G1 Specialty)
Hello…
Is it beans you’re looking for?
Meet Lion-el Richy, our tribute to Ethiopia — the place where coffee was first discovered and where the lion stands proudly as the national animal. We figured if you’re going back to the OG, you might as well dance on the ceiling while you’re at it.
This coffee comes from smallholder farmers in the village of Edido in Yirgacheffe. They bring their ripe cherries to nearby Aricha, where they’re dried naturally on raised beds under the sun — an old-school method that lets the juicy fruitiness do its thing. Lots of careful hands, lots of sunshine, no fancy machines. Easy like Sunday morning.
In the cup, you’ll get jasmine, peach, bright citrus, and sweet honey/panela, with just a hint of cardamom. It’s vibrant but balanced — nothing too wild — the kind of cup that’ll have you saying, “Oh what a feeling… when we’re brewin’ on the ceiling.”
And honestly? Once you try it, you may want to keep it All Night Long.
