Eddie the Confetti Yeti — Pink Bourbon (Washed)

La Llanada de Naranjos, San Agustín, Huila, Colombia
Producer: Doña Luz Dary Ome — La Esperanza Farm, 1780 masl

Meet Eddie the Confetti Yeti, our lovable, coffee-fueled creature who stumbled out of the mountains of Huila and straight into a Christmas special. He’s bright, fuzzy, and always ready to party. If you find confetti in your brew gear later… yeah, that was Eddie.

We grew up loving all those classic Christmas specials, Rudolph, Frosty, The Little Drummer Boy, the ones that made you feel like magic was just around the corner. Eddie the Confetti Yeti is our little tribute to that world of stop-motion wonder and heartwarming chaos.

Local artist Robb Mirsky absolutely nailed the vision.  Eddie’s got that perfect mix of charm, mischief, and nostalgia.

In the Cup

This Pink Bourbon from Doña Luz Dary Ome’s La Esperanza Farm is a comfort cup through and through: dark chocolate, graham cracker, and marshmallow vibes with a little concord grape sparkle to keep things interesting. It’s got a heavy body, low acidity, and a sweet, balanced finish - like a s’more by the fire without the sticky fingers.

Behind the Beans

Doña Luz Dary has been growing coffee her whole life in the village of La Llanada de Naranjos. She and her husband run the farm together, and now their son has joined in — a true family effort. Her days start before sunrise, making breakfast for the team, then diving into picking, pulping, drying, and fermenting. Every step is done with patience, care, and love — the kind that shows up in the cup.

Processing

  • Cherries picked every three weeks

  • 30 hours fermenting in coffee cherry

  • Depulped, then another 30-hour ferment

  • Rinsed and drained for 1 hour

  • Dried 18–20 days on raised beds

Lots of time, lots of care, lots of flavour.

  • We believe the best cup of coffee is the one you enjoy most. Everyone has their preferences - what’s delicious to one person might be just “meh” to another.

Based on what we love, we enjoy brewing these beans as Drip, Espresso, Pour-over. But we always recommend trying them with different methods to find what tastes best to you.
